The school wanted to complete the project to bring their energy bills down, lower maintenance liabilities of old plant and light fittings, and reduce the school’s environmental impact. The main boiler had become obsolete and desperately needed replacing.
Using our understanding of Moulton’s needs, we recommended replacing their lighting with LED, a new solar PV system and a replacement boiler. Synexus also facilitated the school receiving an interest-free loan of £60,572 to cover most of the costs.
William Morris saw an incredible £16,537 yearly reduction in their energy bill, creating a better environment to teach in throughout their school, and saving 40 tonnes of CO2 a year.
